A New Kabbalah class By Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz “TO LIVE FOREVER” A special כ״ב שבט Kabbalah class in Memory of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson 32nd Yahrzeit. Based on A Chassidus Discourse from the Lubavitcher Rebbe Recited on ה׳ אב תשכ״ה the day the Rebbe finished reciting Kaddish for him mother Rebetzin Chana of Blessed Memory. Certified & Edited כ״א אדר תשמ״ח for the Shloshim of The Rebbes wife Rebetzin Chaya Mushka of Blessed memory. 1) The Mamar is based on the verse: בִּלַּ֤ע הַמָּ֙וֶת֙ לָנֶ֔צַח וּמָחָ֨ה אֲדֹנָ֧י יְהוִ֛ה דִּמְעָ֖ה מֵעַ֣ל כָּל־פָּנִ֑ים He will destroy death forever. My Lord GOD will wipe the tears away from all faces. Isaiah Chapter 25 Verse 8 The Rebbe Maharash explains the reason why when Moshiach comes Death will be destroyed is because of the unclean spirit will vanish. וְאֶת־ר֥וּחַ הַטֻּמְאָ֖ה אַעֲבִ֥יר מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ And I will make the unclean spirit vanish from the land. Zecharia Chapter 13 Verse 2 Thru the sin of the tree of knowledge there became the punishment of death. The sin of the tree of knowledge caused a intermingling of Good & Bad. The Alter Rebbe explains that since the Sin of the tree of knowledge Bad energy got mixed into the person so now if he lived forever the bad would live forever. Why specifically the punishment of death? Life is in Kedusha. Bad & impurities is death. So the sin caused bad a spiritual death, that leads to a physical death. When Moshiach comes, there will be בלע המות לנצח as רע will be nullified the spiritual death that will cause no more physical death as well. 2) The reason why רע will be nullified specifically when Moshiach comes (that will cause spiritual & physical death to disappear) as there will be a huge revelation in place of such a revelation all opposition are nullified. Even in the times of the Temples especially the first temple & in the times of King Solomon that there was a huge light as we saw everyone was humbled before king Solomon as his name is a reference for true peace. Nevertheless the revelation left room for יניקת החיצונים albeit only from אחוריים דקדושה not פנימיות. 3) The difference between the revelation of the times of King Shlomo & when Moshiach is revealed. It’s like the difference in our Avodah between סור מרע and מואס ברע. The Alter Rebbe explains in Tanya that the difference between סור מרע and מואס ברע is (not only in how much you hate רע) based on how great your LOVE for HaShem is. Which is the same distinction between times of Shlomo Hamelech less of light & revelation & the Revelation of Moshiach where there will be a greater light & revelation. 4) The Alter Rebbe says in Tanya that all revelation when Moshiach is revealed is dependent on our actions & spiritual service now. This that there will be such a great revelation that Death will be eradicated, thru us hating evil totally, we will cause that HaShem will hate evil & that will take away the impurities from the world until בלע המות לנצח. We each have special moments During Prayer, Torah Study, performing a Mitzvah that you like, or a mundane act לשם שמים or even more so when בכל דרכיך דעהו that you totally give yourself over to HaShem so you have no connection to anything negative or impure just like a צדיק גמור. Since this oneness is everlasting, this causes to draw down a revelation that leaves no room for any external negative forces so that we experience בלע המות לנצח. 5) Until we don’t complete the transformation process. Good & Bad are intermingled. There is death in the world so that רע can be extinguished. Even Tzadikim will return to dust before the resurrection of the dead as since there is רע in everything from the sin of the tree of knowledge they will need to be refined as well. “This refinement can be accomplished by the ביטול of נפשי כעפר לכל תהי׳ than they won’t need to return to dust in the literal sense” When Moshiach is revealed after the resurrection of the dead when רוח הטומאה אעביר מן הארץ there won’t be any death & the body will live forever. As we will experience בלע המות לנצח. Our bodies will be elevated as they will live off spirituality just like our souls. Our bodies will rise higher than our souls. This will happen in a revealed way with the true & complete redemption thru Moshiach very soon.
